A ministry can put  a person in charge…but that doesn’t necessarily make them a true leader.  There are several facets to leading well, and it is our firm belief that “Readers are leaders, and Leaders are readers.”

The following is not an exhaustive list of resources, but many are excellent primers in helping to educate and sustain continual thought about “doing” youth ministry well for the glory of God. We highly recommend that a regular part of your budget allows for “leader development” through the purchase of sharpening resources including:

- “Your First 2 Years in Youth Ministry” by Doug Fields (Amazon)
- “Youth Ministry 3.0″ by Mark Oestreicher (Amazon)
